1. First things first, work out what gaps you have in your golfing setup. Then you can buy accordingly because there are deals on every bit of golf gear you can think of.
2. Use trusted retailers and brands. There are a lot of random websites and retailers that offer products that are not very good. So we would recommend sticking with brands you know and trust, and use us as a guide on what is a good deal and what isn't.
3. Don't panic buy. What I mean here, is when you see a deal, make sure you go to some other retailers to see how it is priced elsewhere.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
So there have been a number of deals in the UK that have been live for a few days now and we have been creating posts to highlight them. So therefore in case you missed it, Golf Monthly's shoe expert Dan Parker noticed that one of his favorite shoes was reduced this year (opens in new tab). The Black Friday specific day may have been and gone but as we have shown there are still plenty of deals out there so our tips below should help you make sure you get the products you want.
1. First things first, work out what gaps you have in your golfing setup. Then you can buy accordingly because there are deals on every bit of golf gear you can think of.
2. Use trusted retailers and brands. There are a lot of random websites and retailers that offer products that are not very good. So we would recommend sticking with brands you know and trust, and use us as a guide on what is a good deal and what isn't.
3. Don't panic buy. What I mean here, is when you see a deal, make sure you go to some other retailers to see how it is priced elsewhere. Also it can be easy to want to strike immediately when you see a deal, but sometimes waiting can mean you get the product slightly cheaper. For example waiting a day meant the Puma shoes I mentioned earlier went down by £20 so be patient. This is particularly valid given Cyber Monday is coming up soon.

So what do we look out for when sourcing deals during the Black Friday Sales? Price is obviously a big consideration in all the products we add to our Best Black Friday Golf Deals guides (opens in new tab), but perhaps the most important thing we look out for is products that we would want to buy and use as golfers.
The Golf Monthly team is made up of a range of golfers, each differing in their abilities, skill-sets and the type of courses they like to play. So when selecting our favorite Black Friday deals, there's a lot of variation in the kinds of products we pick. The underlining point remains though; we like to pick products that we see value in and products we'd enjoy using on the course. Another important consideration we like to look out for is the age of the product on offer. Golf manufacturers are regularly updating and improving the range of discounted products available and that often means retailers are putting on clearance sales on some of their older gear.
The way to spot a clearance deal is by looking at the range of sizes and colors on offer. If there are only a few colorways and sizes, then you may have found yoruself a clearance sale. Cameron Smith has won his third successive Australian PGA Championship title, claiming the trophy at the at Royal Queensland golf course earlier today.
Smith beat fellow Aussie Jason Scrivener and Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune by three shots to finish the tournament with a final round of three-under par, taking his overall score to -14.
The 2022 Open Champion is fast becoming one of the best golfers in the world, amassing three wins on the PGA Tour this season, while also triumphing on the LIV-Golf Chicago Invitational in September.

BREAKING NEWS: TIGER WOODS IS OUT OF HERO WORLD CHALLENGE
And just as we announced 30 minutes ago that Tiger Woods will play at the Hero World Challenge, it's just our luck that the 15-time major winner has just announced he is struggling with plantar fasciitis and sadly won't be playing at the tournament. Gutted for Tiger!
I have it on good authority from Sam Tremlett (opens in new tab) that plantar fasciitis is a 'very painful' condition but hopefully Tiger can make a full recovery and return in time for The Match and The PNC Championship!
